My personal mission is to help young people feel good about themselves and to empower them to make positive changes in their lives. My approach as a therapist begins with creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where people can get comfortable with the therapeutic process. I specialize in helping people address concerns related to self-esteem, school, peer conflicts, family issues, self-harm, depression, and many other issues that can get in the way of us feeling the way we want to feel and living the way we want to live.

I received my MSW from UConn in 2006 with a casework concentration and an additional certification in mental health and substance abuse in social work practice. I also am a trained parenting coach and hold a life coach certification. I have been a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) since 2004 and I am committed to the NASW Code of Ethics.
